from your high-conflict ex.

We take over your co-parenting inbox. Every message handled, documented, and responded to on your behalf — you get calm summaries, not stress.

$297/month · $97 one-time setup · Cancel anytime

High-conflict co-parenting communication isn't just stressful — it's a legal liability. One reactive response can be used against you in court. One ignored message can be called neglect. We eliminate both risks.

Does this sound familiar?

If you're in a high-conflict co-parenting situation, you already know exactly what this feels like.

📱 Your phone buzzes and your stomach drops. You don't even want to look — but you know you have to respond, and every response feels like a minefield.
😤 You type a reply, delete it, type it again. You know you need to stay calm but the message was designed to provoke you — and sometimes it works.
⚖️ You're terrified that one wrong word in a text will end up in front of a judge. So you stress over every reply for hours — or you freeze and don't respond at all.
📂 Important exchanges get lost in your text thread, screenshots are scattered across your phone, and nothing is organized in a way your attorney can actually use.

How Communication Shield works

Simple setup. We take it from there.

1

60-minute intake call

We learn your case — the history, the dynamics, what your co-parent typically raises, and what your parenting order says. We build a custom response framework for your specific situation so every reply we send is calibrated to your case.

2

Set up your dedicated channel

You create a separate phone number or email address for co-parenting communication and share access with us. You give your co-parent the new contact. From that point on, every message goes to us first.

3

We handle every message

We monitor the channel from 8am–9pm every day. When a message comes in, we read it, categorize it, and act within 4 hours. Routine messages get handled automatically. Sensitive or unusual messages come to you first — but as a simple yes/no question, not a raw stressful text.

4

You get a calm Shield Notification

Instead of the raw message, you receive a clean factual summary of what was said, what we did or need from you, and confirmation that it's been logged. That's it. No emotional content, no provocation — just the facts you need.

5

Everything logs automatically

Every incoming message and every response we send is timestamped and logged to your case file. At the end of each month you receive a summary report that's ready to share with your attorney.

What you receive instead of the raw message

How we handle every type of message

Every incoming message falls into one of four categories. You only hear from us when it matters.

Pre-approved — we handle it

Routine logistics: schedule confirmations, pickup times, school updates, minor coordination. We respond automatically within your pre-agreed parameters and notify you after. You don't lift a finger.

Approval needed — we ask you one question

New topics, financial requests, anything outside the norm. We draft the response and send it to you as a simple yes/no: "Your co-parent is requesting $340 for glasses. Approve your share?" One tap and we handle the rest.

Flagged — we notify you and hold

Hostile, threatening, or legally significant messages. We don't respond. We notify you immediately with a clear summary and recommend you consult your attorney before any reply goes out. Everything is documented.

Urgent — we call you directly

Anything involving child safety or genuine emergency triggers an immediate direct call to you. We also notify your attorney contact on file if provided. Nothing urgent gets handled by text notification alone.

Everything included

One monthly fee. No hidden costs. No per-message charges.

What clients say

Real experiences. Names changed for privacy.

"I used to spend 45 minutes stressing over every reply. Now I get a two-line summary and a yes/no question. I didn't realize how much mental energy that was costing me every single day until it was gone."

— David K., North Carolina

"My attorney told me my communication log was the strongest part of my case. I didn't put it together — Bridge did. Every message documented, every response measured. It looked like I had a PR team."

— Marcus T., Ohio

"She would send messages specifically designed to make me react badly. Now those messages go to Bridge and I get a one-sentence summary. The power she had over my day is just gone."

Questions

Is this legal?

Yes. You own and control the communication channel and voluntarily share access with us as your authorized administrative agent — the same principle as giving an assistant access to your email. There is no interception of any kind. All communication flows through an account you create and control. We recommend confirming the arrangement with your family law attorney before starting.

What communication channels can you monitor?

A dedicated Google Voice number (text and calls), a separate email address, or court-ordered co-parenting apps like OurFamilyWizard or TalkingParents. We'll recommend the best option for your situation during the intake call.

What if my co-parent refuses to use the new contact?

This is common at first. We'll help you draft the transition message and advise on how to handle it if they continue contacting you through other channels. In many cases, a note from your attorney requesting all communication go through the designated channel is all it takes.

Do you respond to everything, or do some messages need my approval?

Routine logistics are handled automatically within your pre-agreed parameters. Anything new, unusual, financial, or legally significant gets sent to you as a simple yes/no before we respond. You stay in control of everything that matters — without having to engage with the raw message.

What if something urgent comes in overnight?

Our monitoring hours are 8am–9pm. Outside those hours, urgent situations involving child safety should be handled by calling emergency services directly. We'll work with you during the intake call to set up an after-hours protocol appropriate for your case.

Can I still see the original messages if I want to?

Yes — it's your account and you have full access anytime. We simply handle it so you don't have to. Most clients find they stop checking within the first week.

Is this legal advice?

No. Communication Shield is an administrative service. We handle the organizational and communication management side of your case. All legal decisions remain with you and your attorney.
